In June 2015, Pastor Duwayne Darby, along with his wife, Pastor Patricia Darby, founded Inner City Gospel Center Church. Pastor Darby was called to the Gospel Ministry in 1985, licensed to preach in 1986, and ordained in 2002 by the late Apostle V.B. Washington, whom he also served as Armor Bearer. From 2007 to 2009, Pastor Darby served as Dean at the main campus of Detroit International School of Ministry at Trinity Deliverance Church.

Pastor Darby earned his Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership from Cornerstone University in 2007 and received his Doctor of Divinity degree from Detroit International School of Ministry in 2008. In 2012, he completed his Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and served as a student chaplain at Sinai Grace Hospital.

As of 2026, we are honored to be an Alliance Ministry with Great Commission United Chaplaincy and Discipleship Academy!
